Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising and participating in staff activities, including Food and Beverage. Supervises staff, fostering teamwork, providing instruction and direction as needed, ensuring safe work practices are followed, coordinating break times, and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Develops, supervises staff to achieve high levels of customer service and sets an example of excellent customer service standards for all staff. Ensures guests' requests and concerns are addressed and fulfilled in timely manner.
- Coordinates and ensures that all promotions are implemented effectively and in a timely manner. Responsible for accurately tracking key indicators of all promotional events.
- Works in collaboration with team members and management to ensure participation in company initiatives and effective communication occurs by receiving feedback about events, promotions, customer experience, and operational challenges and successes.
- Reports all shift activities as they unfold to appropriate people and completes reports as required.
- Works closely with department managers, staff and external regulatory authorities to help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the site. Investigates and reports on variances when required.
What You Bring
- 1 – 3 years of Supervisory experience preferred
- Provincial certifications for alcohol service an asset
- Good computer skills, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Excellent problem solving, communication and customer service skills
