As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in conducting physical health assessments for members of the Veteran community. This role is ideal for RNs who are passionate about client-centered care and are seeking flexible, part-time opportunities.
Flexible scheduling available
Conduct comprehensive physical health assessments, including but not limited to musculoskeletal, respiratory, cardiovascular, sensory, and internal systems evaluations.
Complete all required Veteran Affairs forms and documentation accurately and efficiently.
Provide compassionate, respectful care while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Collaborate effectively with administrative and clinical teams to support client care.
Qualifications & Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) with a Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
Current and active registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) in good standing.
Recent Criminal Record Check completed through CSI Screening.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
Demonstrated experience in client education and health promotion.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as required under provincial guidelines.
