Integrated Staffing is currently sourcing Construction Dump Truck Driver | Equipment Hauler for a customer in Moncton, NB.RESPONSIBILITIESDump Truck Operation:
  • Must be willing to travel across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, with the possibility of overnight stays
  • Drive dump trucks (with or without trailer attachments) to move materials like gravel, topsoil, asphalt, and more.
  • Stick to assigned routes and maintain timely delivery schedules.
  • Carry out thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts.
  • Ensure all loads are within permitted weight limits and adhere to transport regulations.
Equipment Hauling:
  • Safely load and secure heavy construction machinery such as dozers, excavators, and loaders for transport.
  • Use appropriate tie-down equipment including chains and binders to meet transportation safety laws.
  • Coordinate delivery of machinery to construction sites in alignment with job timelines and site managers.
  • Skillfully back trailers into designated positions for loading or unloading.
  • Operate telehandlers or forklifts for loading materials when necessary.
General Duties:
  • Keep trucks clean and conduct regular maintenance checks.
  • Accurately complete daily logs, inspection checklists, and delivery records.
  • Maintain open communication with dispatch, mechanics, and job site leads.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and ensure proper PPE is worn at all times.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Valid Class 1 license and a clean driver's abstract.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with dump trucks and equipment hauling.
  • Familiarity with lowboy, float, or tilt-deck trailers is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of DOT compliance and road safety best practices.
  • Capable of handling and adjusting heavy load securements.
  • Reliable, safety-minded, and detail-focused.
  • Experience working on construction sites or with infrastructure projects is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable about heavy equipment safety protocols and basic mechanics.
  • Physically fit and able to work long shifts and in a range of weather conditions.
  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
WORK CONDITIONS
  • Outdoor work environment with changing weather.
  • Early morning starts, longer hours during peak times, and occasional weekend work.
  • Physically intensive duties including climbing, lifting, and securing heavy equipment.
