About the Role
Tantallon Pharmasave is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Leader on Duty (LOD) to join our dynamic team. This part-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys a variety of tasks, and is looking to grow their skills in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
The LOD acts as a key leader on the floor, supporting staff, engaging with customers, and ensuring the store runs smoothly during assigned shifts. While the role may involve assisting at cash, it primarily focuses on customer experience, team coordination, and merchandising excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-duty leader, ensuring smooth operations and high customer service standards
- Coach and support front-line staff to ensure a positive customer experience
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
- Address customer and staff concerns in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
- Assist with cash handling and cashier duties when necessary
- Support in merchandising displays, stock rotation, and inventory checks
- Take initiative to resolve issues and improve store efficiency
Qualifications & Skills
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and highly customer service oriented
- An excellent communicator and team motivator
- Organized and detail-focused, especially when handling cash or stock
- Able to take initiative and work independently when needed
- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy retail environment
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and use stairs as needed
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous retail or merchandising experience is an asset, but not required.

Additional Information
Candidates 18 years or older will be required to complete a criminal background check as part of the hiring process.
There will be standing, bending and lifting (approximately 20lbs) for this position.
We are open 7 days a week; availability for varied shifts is required.
