Border Paving Ltd. is hiring a Front Office Support person for our construction office. This is a steady, full-time position ideal for a recent graduate or early-career candidate who's reliable, detail-oriented, and confident using Microsoft Excel and Word.
This is more than just answering phones - while reception is part of the job, we're looking for someone who can take on additional tasks, stay organized, and contribute to general office operations.
Key Responsibilities:Answer and direct phone calls (volume is low).
Greet occasional visitors and handle incoming mail.
Perform basic data entry and help maintain spreadsheets.
Assist with scanning, printing, and filing.
Support various simple tasks from other departments, depending on workload.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word - you may be asked to demonstrate this in the interview.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed.
High school diploma required; additional training or experience is a plus.
Prior work experience is helpful but not essential if you're willing to learn.

This position is based out of our Onoway office, located 20 minutes northwest of Stony Plain at 54106 RR15. Hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
