Responsibilities:

  • Design, fabricate, and repair complete and partial dentures using traditional and digital methods, including setting up teeth, processing, relining, trimming, and polishing.

  • Fabricate various dental appliances such as nightguards, sportsguards, and Essix retainers using traditional techniques (thermoforming, acrylic work) and digital workflows (intraoral scan, CAD design, 3D printing).

  • Construct and trim both digital and conventional nightguards, ensuring proper fit, comfort, and occlusal contact.

  • Produce duplicate models and diagnostic casts for orthodontic cases, including model pouring, trimming, and precise mounting on articulators.

  • Interpret dentist's prescriptions and specifications to ensure dental prostheses and appliances meet exacting standards.

  • Operate and maintain specialized dental lab equipment including pressure pots, polymerization units, scanners, and 3D printers.

  • Monitor case distribution and control production workflow between departments to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality control protocols.

  • Keep accurate records of each case, materials used, and fabrication steps as per regulatory and company standards.

  • Collaborate with other lab personnel and cross-train in additional departments to support operational flexibility and continuous improvement.

Skills required:

  • College diploma

  • 7+ years of direct/related experience

  • Registered permit with SRDHDTD

  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Excellent time management skills
