Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient IT Coordinator to support and complement our IT Team. This role focuses on helpdesk support, printer maintenance, and administration of Microsoft 365 tools-particularly Teams, Defender, and Intune-in a fast-paced, logistics-driven environment. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless communication, secure endpoints, and reliable tech infrastructure across our fleet and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helpdesk Operations
    • Provide onsite and remote IT support across all terminals. Travel will be required
    • Manage ticketing system and resolve technical issues promptly
    • Provide remote and on-site support for hardware, software, and mobile devices
  • Printer & Peripheral Support
    • Install and maintain networked printers and scanners
    • Troubleshoot printing issues and coordinate with vendors for repairs
    • Monitor supply levels and manage inventory of consumables
    • Management of physical access controls and NVR systems
  • Telephony Administration
    • Support Teams usage for all staff
    • Train staff on Teams features, Teams devices and optimize collaboration workflows
    • Manage Teams channels and permissions across departments
  • Endpoint Protection and Maintenance
    • Support and enforce protection across all endpoints across office and mobile devices
    • Use Intune and Defender to manage device configurations, compliance policies, and remote support
  • IT Coordination & Documentation
    • Responsible for onboarding/offboarding all employee (accounts, devices, access)
    • Maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing records
    • Document and maintain procedures, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals

Qualifications

  • 5 years of IT support experience, preferably in transportation or logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Teams, Defender, and Intune
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS and mobile device management
  • Experience with helpdesk systems and remote support tools
  • Familiarity with printer networking and hardware troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Post-secondary degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • CompTIA A+ or Network+
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
