Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experiencedAZ Shunterto join our team. This role involves moving trailers within our yard and between local facilities to support seamless loading and unloading operations. The successful candidate will have a valid AZ license, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a shunt truck to move trailers and containers within the yard and to/from nearby locations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with loading teams to ensure timely trailer placement for inbound and outbound operations.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and yard inventory.
• Support yard and production organization and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all site-specific safety procedures, traffic flow protocols, and operational policies.
• Operate Roll-Off Truck in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies throughout the yard.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the vehicles and equipment after each shift.
• Performing duties requested by Supervisor/Team Lead
• Cleaning duties involved with Shunting Tasks

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid AZ Drivers Licensewith a clean abstract.
• Minimum2 years of experiencein a shunting or AZ driving role.
• Experience in a Roll-Off Truck is permitted.
• Strong understanding of yard flow and trailer handling.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent spatial awareness and attention to safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with dispatch and yard teams.
