Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Sr. Marketing Coordinator provides project management, execution, and administrative support for CDW Canada's digital marketing programs. This role works directly with the Marketing Specialist, Media Planning to coordinate the creation, development and day-to-day implementation of marketing tasks related to media planning & ad operations. The role will also work closely with the Marketing Manager to support the strategy and execution of our digital events, as well as other ad hoc digital marketing projects.

What you'll do:

Media Planning & Ad Operations

  • Execute digital ad campaigns on StackAdapt including campaign set-up, optimization, compliance, budget management, and reporting.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and make adjustments to improve campaign effectiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with ad serving technology.
  • Assist the Marketing Specialist in media strategy development, improving execution strategies that will increase overall performance and efficiency, identifying new opportunities for innovation and expansion into new advertising channels.
  • Maintain project trackers, invoices and purchase orders for all paid media activities.
  • Coordinate all aspects of project execution including building creative development schedules, organizing and collecting information from the Partner team, reviewing ad units, daily monitoring of activities to ensure production timelines are met, collaborating with stakeholders (designers, Partner team and agency) and monitoring and tracking the status of projects from planning to completion.
  • Stay on top of best practices for ad measurement, targeting and platforms; understand the competition and ever-changing goals within the advertising industry.

Digital Events

  • Support the creation and management of our annual digital event strategy for CDW.
  • Manage webinar requests and schedule. Execute webinars and digital content from beginning to end including webinar promotion, setup and post-event follow up communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging webinar content & other supporting materials. Coordinate multi-channel promotions and campaigns to drive webinar attendance.
  • Manage the lead flow process and prepare lead and ROI reports for all webinars.

Other (general)

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Partner and Product Management, Sales, and Finance functions, as well as third party publications and agencies.
  • Provide general support to the marketing team with a focus on digital channels, but also including marketing finance, project management, additional event support and other duties as required.
  • Provide marketing and promotion support to marketing team as required which may require travel, working evenings or weekends (5-10% of the time).

What you need to succeed:
Must-have:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or marketing.
  • 2+ years relevant experience required in digital marketing, social media, advertising, or communications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of media landscape in Canada, including digital and traditional (offline) media and the impact they have on the customer journey.
  • Experience building, optimizing, and reporting on paid ad campaigns on digital platforms (StackAdapt, Google, LinkedIn, Meta etc.)
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines and objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to effectively articulate information and interact with all levels of stakeholders both verbally and through written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion for translating data into insights and marketing opportunities.
  • Proven ability to proactively collaborate, take initiative and creatively problem solve.
  • Experience working with creative teams to guide and create visual and copy assets.
  • Experience working with partners, clients, and cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-have:

  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
  • Experience using StackAdapt or similar ad platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Excel (for qualitative and quantitative analytic techniques to support tracking and campaign management).
  • Experience using formal project management tools like Workfront, Trello, Asana etc.
  • Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce or other marketing automation tools.
  • Experience in B2B marketing is an asset but not required.

Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience and skill set
