Job Summary: The forklift operator is required to use industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or a similar place. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, minor maintenance work, supporting control of inventory documentation, and full compliance with safety compliance regulations.

Salary: $20.00/hour

Professional Tasks:

• Operate lifting devices, e.g., forklifts, hoists, lifting platforms, lifting beams, and swivel hooks.
• Manually load and unload material from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices.
• Accurately ship and receive the product.
• Support inventory control with accurate documentation.
• Complete timesheets.
• Comply with all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance of vehicles and auxiliary equipment.
• Accurately weigh and document documents.
• Provide production data on labels.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience as a forklift operator.
• Forklift Safety Training Certificate.
• Experience in routine maintenance operations.
• Highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse work environment.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
