As the Clinic Manager, reporting to the Regional Director you will be responsible for providing your clinic with oversight of day-to-day operations and providing your team with supervision and support. This includes direct clinical work, hiring, scheduling, coaching, mentoring, counseling, and supervising personnel. You will support engagement and relationship building with the community, employees, families, and clients while promoting Monarch House's mission, vision, and values.
Job-type: Full-time
Work setting: Center-based in Whitby
Schedule: Monday - Friday with evening availability till 7:30pm (2-3x per week)

Take an inside look at what you will do each day:

  • Support and oversee as required the day-to-day interactions and management and supervision of personnel, clients, and families in the clinic

  • Support personnel in adhering to and understanding of all Monarch House policies and procedures

  • Support coaching, mentoring, and the growth and development of clinical team members (e.g. OTs, SLPs, BCBAs)

  • Act as hiring manager to support interviews and on-site onboarding activities

  • Support and promote Monarch House's culture

  • Support the intake process via communication of openings for service across all services offered in clinic

  • Coordinate and support clinic wide communications

  • Coordinate with administrative staff regarding client services, staff scheduling, and clinical assignment of hours for clinicians

  • Coordinate and liaise with HR regarding staffing needs

  • Maintain a caseload

  • Coordinate student placements (diploma, undergraduate, graduate) for all departments

  • Provide and implement strategies and systems for maintenance of quality services

  • Contribute to new directions for growth and development of Monarch House

  • Explain and strategize around week over week clinic performance and objectives

Here is what you will need to be successful:

  • Registered with a provincial College/Association (e.g. BACB, CASLPO, COTO)
  • Have a minimum of a master's degree
  • Demonstrated experience working in a pediatric clinic, providing interventions and therapies for children with special needs is a must have
  • 2-3 years in a clinical and/or supervisory role
  • Legally authorized to work and practice in Canada
