Corporate Paralegal

Salary: $70,000 to $85,000

About the Opportunity
Our client, a respected Vancouver-based law firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Paralegal to join their legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys handling a wide range of corporate transactions and maintaining accurate corporate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing closing transaction documents
• Drafting and editing resolutions, agreements, and other legal correspondence
• Managing filings with BC Registry and Corporations Canada
• Reviewing and updating corporate records
• Preparing documentation for BC entities, including incorporations, name changes, and updates to directors and officers
• Maintaining corporate files and record books using ALF Corporate
• Managing client verification documentation
• Preparing and filing documents for partnerships, limited partnerships, business names, and extra-provincial registrations

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized paralegal program
• At least 5 years of recent experience as a corporate paralegal
• Proficiency with ALF Corporate, BC Online, and Microsoft Office (experience with ESILaw and Worldox considered an asset)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Effective prioritization and time-management skills
• Strong ability to manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision
