We are seeking a Lab Technician to join our on-site lab, located in a busy medical practice. You will be responsible for performing medical tests for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases as well as follow-up under the physician's guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Checking patients in
• Collect and organize blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples from patients
• Prepare and store samples for routine testing and analysis
• Properly record results for further analysis and easy reference
• Monitor inventory samples and supplies
• Preform some clerical duties such as scheduling, filing and following-up on test results under the physicians guidance
• Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a lab technician or assistant. Must be comfortable with phlebotomy and certified to work as a phlebotomist in Ontario
• Familiarity with common medical terminology
• Experience in a laboratory setting
• Strong organizational skills
