Our client in Brantford is looking for a certified Red Seal Millwright to join their team! Our client has been in business for over 50 years and specializes in manufacturing industrial rubber mats. This is a direct hire opportunity for an experienced 433a licensed Journeyperson!

MUST BE 433a CERTIFIED MILLWRIGHT AND AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL TIME, 40 HOURS A WEEK ALL YEAR. SHIFTS ARE ROTATING CONTINENTAL SHIFTS 7 to 7.

Job Duties Include:

• Performing safe work practices as well as safe operation of vehicles, power tools, and equipment
• Assisting Millwrights in the construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, including robotics
• Performing preventative maintenance throughout the entire plant
• Troubleshooting and maintaining plant equipment
• Recording and documenting all servicing, maintaining inventory of spare parts, and checking repair communication forms daily

Requirements:

• Must possess mechanical abilities and be a licensed 433a Millwright in Ontario
• Able to work with minimal supervision and work as a team player
• Able to follow instructions and prioritize tasks with accountability
• Able to perform shift work
