Job Description
D'Served is looking for an employee, who will effectively work to produce ice cream sandwiches, bake and assist in production. The ideal employee is able to reliably work evenings into the early morning, feel comfortable working in a fast paced work environment with a proven ability to meet daily production quotas, used to working on their feet the whole shift and already has commercial kitchen experience . This job does not require any customer service tasks.
This role requires attention to detail with the ability to consistently meet goals and production quality. Employees must have the ability to reliably get themselves to and from the work every shift at the agreed upon time. It requires the ability to communicate and work effectively with a small team (2-3 people) and to be flexible while repeat tasks are performed. Training will be provided for every duty and task assigned.
Job Tasks
- Scooping/ portioning ice cream to make ice cream sandwiches
- Portion, rolling and baking cookies
- Packaging ice cream sandwiches with a horizontal flow wrap machine
- Prepare boxes and orders
- Prepare cases of product
- Effectively track info and communicate in Google sheets
- Adhere to provincial health and safety regulations
- Understand and comply with all legislated, mandated and company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Other tasks as required

Candidate Requirements
- MUST be at least 18 years of age upon application
- A valid Food Handling Certification
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery
- Valid working permits required
- Candidates with ice cream/ gelato handling and baking experience preferred
