Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform repairs on brakes, engines, suspensions, transmissions, and more
• Overhaul and reinstall mechanical components
• Lead preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual checks
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used
• Report safety concerns and corrective actions
• Evaluate completed work and seek approvals when needed
• Respond to road calls and emergency service needs
• Follow company policies and safety standards
• Safely move vehicles within the work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification in Commercial Transport or Heavy Duty On-Road
• Valid driver's license
• Own a complete mechanic's tool set
• Strong problem-solving and computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Availability for assigned shifts
