They are currently looking for an experienced Junior Accountant to join their growing team.

The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Corporate Accountant and play a key role in supporting the finance function across multiple portfolio companies. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting with month-end close, preparing financial statements, performing full cycle accounting, reconciling accounts, and managing accounts payable.

Success in this role requires someone who is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and committed to accuracy. The ideal candidate will also be a strong communicator and a collaborative team player, able to work effectively with colleagues across the organization to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This is a perfect role for someone currently pursuing their CPA designation, offering valuable hands-on experience and exposure to a wide range of accounting responsibilities in a dynamic and supportive environment.

TMGVC

• Minimum of 3+ years of full-cycle accounting or financial reporting experience
• Some understand of accounting principals
• Knowledge of consolidation
• Experience in the mining industry is an asset
• Currently enrolled in the Canadian CPA program
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Experience with Quickbooks and Sage ERP
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for continuous learning
• Humble and willing to ask questions or seek help when needed
• Bright, self-motivated, and able to work independently, while also being a collaborative team player
