Position: Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking aversatile and experienced recruiterwho thrives in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment. This individual will lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, from crafting compelling job descriptions to selecting top-tier talent. Additionally, this role will play a key part in onboarding and spearheading our internal"University" Projecta strategic initiative to foster employee development, bye reviewing existing skills and draft adequate training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and post job descriptions tailored to each role and department.
- Source candidates using multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, industry-specific boards, etc.).
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for both construction and hospitality roles.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics.
- Represent the company at employment fairs, trade shows, and networking events to attract top talent and promote employer branding.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with universities, colleges, and technical schools to build a pipeline of interns, co-op students, and entry-level professionals.
- Design and manage internship and trainee programs, ensuring alignment with business needs and development goals
- Onboarding & Integration
- Participate on onboarding processes on site.
- Collaborate with department heads and Continuous Improvement Department to align onboarding with operational needs.
- Internal Development University Project
- Lead the planning and execution of our internal training and development program.
- Identify skill gaps and create learning paths for various roles.
- Coordinate with external trainers or develop in-house training materials.
- Suggest internal solutions for recruitment needs by assessing employees skills.
- HR Support
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment metrics.
- Stay updated on labor laws and hiring best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience inrecruitment and talent acquisition, preferably in construction. Knowledge and experience in recruiting for hospitality will also be an asset.
- Strong knowledge ofrecruitment platformsand applicant tracking systems.
- Excellentinterviewing and candidate evaluationskills.
- Ability to write clear, engaging, and accuratejob descriptions.
- Experience withemployee onboardingandtraining program developmentis a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
