We are looking for a Cleaner/General Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role will have general knowledge of building repairs and maintenance. This role will consist of the following responsibilities.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of our locations.
- cleaning the interior of shops as required.
- Maintain daily cleaning schedules
- Maintain the general functionality of the buildings equipment.
- Respond to, assess and complete necessary repairs as they surface.
- Assess if a professional needs to be called to complete more extensive repairs.
- Communicate and coordinate with appropriate tradespersons (Plumbers, Electricians etc.)
- Ensure that all repairs are being completed properly and responsibly for safe and proper completion of tasks.
- Perform preventative maintenance
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of general building maintenance
- Basic knowledge of general building repairs
- Cleaning experience
- Commercial Cleaning experience is an asset
