Weins Corporate, a division of WEINS Auto Group, is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Operations Manager to lead and oversee IT functions across our multi-location operations. Reporting to our IT General Manager, this position is responsible for support of our IT Leadership, End User Support, IT Infrastructure Maintenance, IT System Administration, and IT Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities

IT Leadership

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Weins Corporate's business processes to recommend and implement effective technology solutions.
  • Manage and continuously improve the organization's technology infrastructure to support growth and strategic initiatives.
  • Proactively manage our multiple location technology infrastructure to allow for detailed planning, growth and continued improvement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the IT team to maintain a high standard of performance and service.
  • Oversee IT project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

End User Support

  • Ensure responsive and effective IT support to all business divisions, including assistance with third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve issues and maintain service continuity.

IT Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Evaluate and recommend on infrastructure upgrades and enhancements to align with organizational needs.
  • Oversee the procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT hardware, connectivity tools, and networking equipment.
  • Ensure reliable operation of data backup systems and network security protocols.

IT System Administration

  • Manage user account creation, permission groups, and IT access
  • Serve as backup administrator for manufacturer portals (e.g., Infostream).
  • Maintain and update IT rules-based systems such as email filtering and web access controls.

IT Asset Management

  • Track IT assets and expenditures to ensure effective cost management and capital planning.
  • Maintain future expense forecasting tools considering future replacement cost of existing system based on expected life and prepare data to assist with annual budgeting process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in IT management or a senior IT operational role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, networking technologies, advanced network protocols, and multi-vendor IT environments.
  • Experience managing IT teams and overseeing complex, multi-site IT environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication, project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and technology budgeting.
