Key Responsibilities:
Provide global support for ITRS Geneos monitoring solutions across engineering and implementation teams.
Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams to identify monitoring needs and reduce system risks.
Document production and disaster recovery systems for operational and regulatory requirements.
Log and manage production issues, system bugs, and change requests, ensuring prompt resolution.
Communicate system health and risks to senior management proactively.
Oversee the ITRS Netprobe deployment lifecycle from packaging to installation and onboarding.
Maintain an accurate inventory of deployed, new, and decommissioned servers.
Evaluate and test new monitoring initiatives in lab environments, then transition successful configurations to production.
Manage and coordinate an offshore team to monitor alerts and escalate issues to appropriate technical teams.
Support new monitoring tools, ensuring effective rollout and operational continuity.
Essential Skills:
Expert-level knowledge of ITRS Geneos software
Strong background in Unix/Linux, Windows Server environments, and networking
Proficiency in ITRS scripting language, shell scripting, and text processing tools
Hands-on experience with production support and infrastructure monitoring
Strong documentation and problem-resolution skills Desirable Skills:
Kubernetes
Python scripting
Experience with PostgreSQL
Knowledge of Java programming
