Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Architect with deep expertise in Camunda BPM and low-code/no-code application platforms. This role involves architecting scalable, resilient, and high-performance business process automation solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, set architectural standards, and guide the end-to-end delivery of complex automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of enterprise-scale BPM solutions using Camunda 8/7.
- Define and enforce best practices for BPMN, DMN, and process orchestration.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, flexible process automation architectures.
- Integrate Camunda with existing enterprise systems using APIs, microservices, messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud-native tools.
- Evaluate and incorporate low-code/no-code platforms for rapid development and digital transformation initiatives.
- Define the technical roadmap and contribute to platform strategy, tooling, and governance models.
- Provide mentorship and architectural oversight to development teams and ensure adherence to design principles.
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and risk assessments for critical workflows
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise application development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (Camunda 8 preferred).
- Expertise in BPMN, DMN, and business rules modeling.
- Strong architectural knowledge in microservices, event-driven systems, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with low-code/no-code development tools (e.g., Mendix, OutSystems, Power Platform) and how they fit into enterprise IT landscapes.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation and automation projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Banking or financial services.
- Camunda Certified Architect or Developer.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Camunda Optimize, Operate, and Tasklist modules.
