Summit Search Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager, Operations in Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. The Manager, Operations will oversee and streamline the organizations internal workflows and stakeholder engagement efforts. This is a full-time, two-year term position with the potential for extension. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Manager will play a central role in maintaining operational effectiveness, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, managing relationships with shareholders and subcontractors, and supporting funding and reporting processes. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, financial acumen, and a collaborative mindset to support a high-performing and purpose-driven team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by managing internal systems related to finance, IT, procurement, and human resources in line with corporate policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of invoices and monthly project reporting.
- Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards by preparing and managing operational documentation and records.
- Liaise with shareholders and board members to ensure alignment on business priorities and to support transparent reporting of budgets, updates, and project progress.
- Lead the preparation of Board meeting materials and support corporate governance through document management, onboarding, and communication.
- Assist with the drafting and review of funding applications, tenders, and proposals, ensuring submissions meet all guidelines and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within infrastructure or community development contexts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, subcontractors, and funding proposals with accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in writing applications, reports, and corporate updates.
- Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, and operational software tools.
