Responsibilities:

As a UX Lead you will oversee the delivery of UX design and strategy projects, contributing to planning the overall approach to the work, conceptualizing UX strategies and solutions, and working with a multi-disciplinary team to bring your ideas to fruition. You will work across multiple different project types, including user research, experience strategy, north star visions and prototypes, and end-to-end product design delivery.

UX Lead responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with project managers and other discipline leads to plan project delivery approach and set up Design Ops for your projects
  • Planning and executing quantitative and qualitative user research
  • Planning and facilitating workshops and design sessions
  • Creating a holistic experience design strategies across journey phases, user segments, and channels
  • Conceptualizing design solutions based on strategic recommendations
  • Designing information architecture, task flows, wireframes, and other UX documentation for internal and external development teams

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 8+ years of UX design experience in Agency or consulting
  • University degree or certification in information architecture, HCI, human factors/ergonomics, user experience design, interaction design, or related field
  • Portfolio of work including both marketing/content related projects and complex, interaction-rich interfaces, and experience strategy documentation (e.g. personas, user journeys, etc.)
  • Proficient experience in using Figma, Sketch, Invision, Axure, Adobe suite, or related
  • Experience creating new products, apps, or sites from the ground up
  • User research and usability testing experience
  • Comfort with interpreting qualitative and quantitative data sources
  • Superior communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating work and mentoring other UX designers within project teams
  • Experience estimating project work effort and contributing to new business initiatives (e.g. RFP responses, proposal decks, etc.)
  • Direct experience working with a multi-disciplinary team

  • Design for mobile devices, e-Commerce, content management (cataloguing, taxonomies, template design)
  • Creating and maintaining design systems
