About the Job

A-1 Cement is seeking a slinger operator or telebelt operator with a class 3 license and at least 5 years driving experience for our basement gravel installation division.

Who you are

• You are a five year experienced driver with a valid Class 3 Alberta license and with a clean abstract.
• You have general knowledge of slinger truck operation or telebelt operation, basement gravel installation, and workplace safety requirements.
• You have an understanding of residential construction practices and quality standards.
  
• You are professional, detail oriented and a good communicator in both written and verbal correspondence.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to comfortably operate a slinger truck or telebelt in the city of Calgary while knowing the new sub divisions with some ease.
• Must be capable of manual labor assisting with exterior weeping tile and basement gravel installation as required.
• Must be conscientious with truck driving standards and job site safety while diligently filling out pre-trip truck and hazardous assessment forms.
  

Unique working conditions

• This position may require flexible hours but each work day starts at 7: 00 a.m.
• This job is fulltime and year round.
