What Youll Do as a DevOps Engineer

Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment

Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform) for performance and cost- efficiency

Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to detect and resolve bottlenecks, errors, and security risks

Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability using best practices in cloud architecture

Maintain security measures to protect infrastructure and data from unauthorized access and threats

Work closely with development teams to seamlessly integrate applications with infrastructure

Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues efficiently

Evaluate and enhance DevOps processes and tools to improve efficiency and performance

Keep up with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing

What You Bring to the Team

Five to ten years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role within software development

Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and cloud services

Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as BitBucket Pipelines or similar

Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog

Proficiency with Git and version control best practices

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points for

Google Cloud Platform certifications

Experience with serverless computing

Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards

Contributions to open-source projects or personal development work
