About the role:

Job Title: DA AVOP Operator (Airside Vehicle Operator)

Location: Pearson International Airport

Employment Type: Part-Time

Shift Availability: Multiple shifts available (see below)

Part-Time Shifts:

• Sunday & Monday: 06:00 - 14:00

• Friday & Saturday: 14:00 - 23:00

• Thursday & Friday: 15:00 - 23:00

• Wednesday & Thursday: 15:00 - 23:00

• Sunday & Monday: 05:00 - 15:00

Additional Openings:

• Continental: 12:00 - 20:30

• Tuesday to Thursday: 05:00 - 15:00

• Saturday to Monday: 04:00 - 14:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles in airside areas as per DA AVOP regulations.
• Transport baggage and other essential items between designated airport locations.
• Lift, load, and transport items weighing up to70 lbs. as part of baggage handling.
• Comply with airport safety protocols and traffic regulations.
• Conductpre-use inspections of assigned vehicles and report any issues.
• Assist in baggage handling and ground operations if required.
• Respond to on-the-job emergencies as per safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Valid DA AVOPand Valid PURPLE RAIC.
• Availability to work the designated shifts.
• Ability tolift to 70 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Previous experience in airside operations, ground handling, or aviation is an asset
• Understanding ofairside safety protocols and airport procedures.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Physically capable of performing tasks related to baggage handling.
