We are looking for a full-time Controller/Property Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and reporting for our portfolio of condominium properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property accounting and experience managing a team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting functions related to condominium properties, including budgeting, financial reporting and reconciliations
  
• Lead and mentor a team of property accountants, providing guidance, support and performance management
• Review and analyze monthly financial statements
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable and reserve fund transactions
• Collaborate with property managers and board members to provide financial insights and reporting
• Coordinate annual audits and work with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
  
• Successfully coordinate the integration of new properties into the accounting workflow
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices for financial operations

Specifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in property management accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
