- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers to source product data.
- Understanding of SQL, Excel, ETL, scripting and other tools that can be used to modify and stage vendor data in bulk, systematically.
- A background in scripting/programming that allows you to restructure and load data at an accelerated rate.
- Industry experience & auto parts knowledge is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, including Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Passion for eCommerce and the automotive parts industry, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
*Successful candidates must have the technical skills required to manipulate and transform bulk vendor parts data from various sources into structured data that will feed our Ecommerce system.
Responsibilities:- Develop tools and scripts to automate the loading, cleansing and enrichment of supplier product data.
- Execute the end-to-end process of adding, updating, and maintaining the product catalog for automotive parts on our eCommerce platform.
- Develop and enhance systems for collaborating with suppliers to allow them to directly review and enrich product data.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product information, including product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, fitment data, and attributes sourced from suppliers.
- Learn and proficiently use our Product Information Management (PIM) system to manage product data and enrich product listings.
- Optimize product listings for search visibility and conversion by implementing best practices for SEO, metadata, and keyword optimization.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and eCommerce best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our product catalog.
