As we continue to grow, we are seeking anAccounting Systems Analystwho will bridge accounting and technology by supporting the integration ofQuickBooksinto ourinternal proprietary software.

About the Role:

Reporting to the CFO, theAccounting Systems Analystwill be responsible forfull-cycle accounting, while also working closely with the IT team to enhance system functionality. This role involvesanalyzing financial data, ensuring seamless software integration, and optimizing workflowsto improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of QuickBooksinto the companys proprietary internal system, ensuring accuracy in data flow and reporting.
  • Manage accounting tasks, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bookkeeping, journal entries, and cost accounting.
  • Analyze financial data, trackingcost per unit and cost per customerto enhance financial planning and business insights.
  • Collaborate with thesoftware development teamto design user-friendly client-facing accounting pages, helping clients track orders, payments, and balances.
  • Conductfinancial planning and analysis, budgeting, and generating financial reports.
  • Work with IT teamsto implement system improvements and automate accounting processes.
  • Audit and review transactions for accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
  • Identify opportunities foraccounting system enhancementsand process improvements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree inAccounting, Finance, IT, or a related field.
  • 3 years of accounting experience(AP, AR, bookkeeping, cost accounting).
  • Strong expertise in QuickBooksand financial system integrations.
  • Advanced Excel skills(including pivot tables and data analysis).
  • Experience working in atechnology-driven environmentwith a strong understanding of software integration.
  • Industry experience in manufacturing or retailis a plus, particularly in tracking unit costs.
  • Ability to workfully on-siteand collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in streamlining financial workflows.
  • Experience withMicrosoft Power BIis an asset
