Our successful food manufacturing client in Paris, ON is seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee millwrights and electricians in a GMP environment.The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing maintenance planning, scheduling, and breakdown elimination efforts. The role involves coaching teams, managing daily operations, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes, while ensuring seamless integration with other Progressive Maintenance systems.What we offer:

Job Description:

• Lead daily meetings, report on key maintenance metrics, and support the execution of plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address breakdowns, optimize operations, and maintain safety standards.
• Prioritize and review work orders, manage backlogs, ensure proper scheduling, and coordinate planned maintenance activities.
• Lead weekly and monthly scheduling sessions, monitor job completion results, and ensure maintenance documentation is up to date.
• Monitor maintenance performance, KPIs, and in-process measures. Drive corrective actions for any issues affecting performance and share updates with leadership.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational, communication, and coaching skills
• 5 years or more in maintenance leadership
• 433A or 442A license required
• Experience in a GMP environment strongly preferred
• Knowledge of maintenance planning, breakdown elimination, and Autonomous Maintenance processes.
• Proficient in maintenance management software and tools.
