All the hours you invested in gaming and programming are paying off! Our BAS Technicians work on-site to install, repair, and maintain computer-based systems that control and monitor a building's mechanical and electrical equipment including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and energy management systems. Our BAS Techs work on sites throughout the GTA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Investigation of existing or new systems, existing or new equipment
Provide take-offs and assist with quotations
Network start-up and setup and troubleshooting (IP, RS-485, etc.)
Point-to-point verification of I/O
Configure, optimize and troubleshoot systems
Implement a graphical user interface (GUI)
Documenting and cataloging commissioning
Submission of commissioning reports
Perform wiring checkout and automation start-ups using provided software and tools
Adjustment and calibration as required
Operate and configure PC workstations, user interfaces, IP networking devices
Perform software and hardware troubleshooting
Preferred Experience, Education & Certification
- College Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering Technology or similar
- Demonstrated experience working with:
o Building Automation Systems,
o IP Networking,
o Low voltage control systems
o Mechanical and HVAC systems
o Electromechanical devices
o Pneumatic ControlNiagara Workbench
o Schneider Electric EcoStruxure
o FinBuilder
o Honeywell Spyder Tools
o Johnson Controls PCT
