The Role

As a Sanitation Support - Tray Wash team member at Ganong, you will play a key role in achieving sanitation, GMP, and housekeeping objectives. Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, R&D & QA Manager, you will work closely with the team to ensure equipment cleaning, pre-ops, and GMP checks are efficiently performed. Your role will involve sharing knowledge about procedures, policies, and documentation while leading by example.

Who You Are

The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work under pressure. They must be proficient in operating cleaning machinery (Tray Wash Machine, Floor Scrubbers, garbage compactor) and performing various cleaning tasks (washrooms, common areas, lunchrooms). Flexibility, good communication, attention to detail, and good manufacturing and safety practices are essential. Some heavy lifting may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is an asset
• Ability to all shift profiles with potential for overtime as required
• Good attendance record
• No bending or lifting restrictions
