Join Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure as an Operations Program Assistant and play a key role in supporting program delivery within the Northern Airports & Marine Operations Branch. This position provides advanced administrative, adjudication, and client service support, ensuring efficient service delivery through the application of policies and procedures, workflow coordination, and operational support. Duties:
• Provide advanced administrative, adjudication, and client service support.
• Assess and process applications, permits, or program-related requests.
• Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and legislation.
• Coordinate workflow and perform quality assurance activities.
• Maintain program records, databases, and information systems.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, and program documentation.
• Support operational improvement.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience providing advanced administrative, adjudication, or client service support in a program delivery environment
- Experience supervising staff, coordinating workflow, and supporting quality assurance activities
- Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and provide guidance.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Effective written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with diverse staff, clients, and community partners
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or case management, permitting, or similar systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgment
- Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to work with accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
Conditions of Employment:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check or Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, may be required for certain positions.
- Must provide and maintain satisfactory Child Abuse Registry and / or Adult Abuse Registry Checks, may be required for certain positions.
