Wage: $26.73-38.71

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing problems and completing maintenance and repairs for on-road vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine service and breakdown maintenance for the LLSR vehicle fleet.
• Must be proficient in troubleshooting problems on various make of vehicles.
• Work under the supervision of Red Seal mechanics and unsupervised.
• Maintain a high standard of safety.
• Operate all fleet vehicles in order to evaluate the results of previously performed maintenance.
• Complete work orders and projects as assigned.
• Accurate record keeping of regular inspections, maintenance, and projects

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Apprentice Automotive Service Technician, must be working towards Red Seal certification.
• Valid Driver’s license (class 5 minimum).
• Must provide tools adequate per your level of training.
• Must have the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Strong knowledge of light trucks an asset.
• Must possess accurate verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Safety oriented. Strong knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.
• Able to prioritize tasks for efficiency.
• Follow all LLSR policies and procedures.
• A three month probationary period applies.
• A police background check, from your home country or province, will be required upon commencement of employment.

Work Schedule:

7:00am - 5:30pm
