About the role.

Enterprise event production

• Serve as the technical producer for enterprise-wide meetings and events, including multi-function town halls delivered via Microsoft Teams.
• Own platform setup and configuration for each event, including Teams Town Hall/Live Events settings, layouts, and access permissions.
• Run live production during events — managing scene/screen switching, audio and video quality, and smooth transitions between presenters and segments.
• Coordinate presenters and stakeholders across multiple business functions, including pre-event briefings, technical rehearsals, and run-of-show planning.
• Configure and manage audience engagement tools such as polls, live Q&A, chat moderation, and reactions to drive participation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time during live events to minimize disruption and maintain a seamless attendee experience.
• Continuously refine event production standards and run-of-show documentation to raise the quality and consistency of enterprise-wide virtual experiences.

What you’ll need to be successful.

• 3-5 years of experience in live event production, broadcast/AV production, or internal communications.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Communications, Media Production, Broadcast/AV, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a technical producer for live virtual or hybrid events, ideally using Microsoft Teams Town Hall/Live Events (or comparable enterprise platforms).
• Working knowledge of run-of-show planning, presenter coordination, and live rehearsal management for multi-function, enterprise-wide events.
• Experience configuring and moderating audience engagement tools (polls, live Q&A, chat) in a live event setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot audio, video, and platform issues calmly and quickly under live event pressure.
• Strong video production and editing skills (filming, editing, animation/motion graphics).
• Experience producing podcast content, including planning, recording, and editing.
• Experience with distribution list management and audience segmentation for internal communications.
• Working knowledge of data analytics tools to measure communications and event effectiveness and generate insights.
• Familiarity with communications automation platforms and an interest in applying AI to communications workflows.
• Experience deploying post-event surveys and supporting training or change-management activities.
• Strong design sensibility, with the ability to refine and troubleshoot visual assets to meet brand standards.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent productions, live events, and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders and presenters across a global, geographically dispersed team.
• Proficiency with production and creative tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Canva (or equivalent creative suite).

Compensation Package: $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 . CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
