About the role.

This is a temporary position for one year and monitors the flow of raw potatoes while looking for any foreign material or defective potatoes.

What you’ll be doing.

• Monitors the flow of frozen French fries before packaging for foreign material or defective fries.

• Notifies supervisor of any foreign material found in product flow.

• Completes all required QCDSME board data entry.

• Assists with recasing of product as required.

• Maintains all required documentation.

• Maintains good housekeeping, sanitation and 5S in the area.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is based in a regulated manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Employees must consistently follow all GMP, safety, and hygiene requirements, including restrictions on jewelry, personal items, and attire while on the production floor. Compliance with these standards is an essential duty of the role to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

What you’ll need to be successful.

• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control software (Infinity QS) and general production requirements is an asset.

• Experienced with the safe handling of chemicals in accordance with WHMIS.

• Must have strong communication skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, and be able to maintain good working relationships with Supervision and coworkers as well as ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of Grade 12 education.

• Ability to work on a rotating shift basis.

• Successful completion of a 90-day familiarization period is required.

• Must have proven history of safe work habits.

• Physically capable of performing all required duties including standing for up to 2 hours.

Compensation Package: - Starting at 24.66 CAD hourly + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
