Vacation and Sick/FR days We currently have an opening in Mississauga, ON for a: People & Culture Coordinator The People & Culture Coordinator is responsible for supporting employees throughout their journey with Kenaidan, from onboarding and orientation to offboarding and employee programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, people-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, improving processes, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. How will you contribute to the team? To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Manage and coordinate the end-to-end onboarding experience, from offer acceptance through successful integration into the organization, by facilitating orientation activities, serving as a point of contact for new employees, and continuously enhancing the overall employee experience.
Facilitate and deliver the People & Culture portion of new hire orientation, providing an overview of company policies, programs, and resources to help new employees successfully navigate their employment journey.
Maintain employee data and documentation with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Administer the Employee Referral Program, including communication, tracking, reporting, and program enhancements.
Manage the People & Culture department's corporate credit card, including expense tracking, reconciliations, and reporting.
Coordinate and support the employee offboarding process to ensure a smooth and professional transition for departing employees.
Partner with managers and internal stakeholders to ensure all offboarding activities are completed accurately, while maintaining compliance with company policies and protecting the employee experience.
Provide support across a variety of internal and external People & Culture programs, initiatives, and events that enhance the employee experience, strengthen our employer brand, and support organizational growth.
Take on additional People & Culture responsibilities and special projects, creating opportunities for ongoing professional growth and career advancement.
Monitor the People & Culture processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Education and Experience:
Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
CHRP designation or working toward the designation is considered an asset.
3-5 years of Human Resources experience
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience working with HRIS systems and employee records management.
Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a willingness to take initiative. Working Conditions: Office and site-based position. When on site, personal protective equipment (i.e. hard hat, safety boots) required at all times. Think you're the right fit?
