As a Leader, Systems and Data Asset, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership, governance, and continuous improvement of Fleet & Inventory's information systems and data ecosystem. You will lead a team of technical specialists to optimize business systems, support data-driven decision-making, and align technology and data initiatives with operational and corporate priorities. Primary duties include:

• Lead the administration, enhancement, and integration of Fleet & Inventory's key business systems, including a corporate telematics system deployed on over 3500 vehicles and equipment (CTOS), AssetWorks M5 (Maintenance Management System), CAM (Capital Asset Management), AFD (Automated Fluid Dispensing systems), Electronic Invoicing, and Ahearn.
• Act as the primary liaison with IT, managing technology initiatives, hardware assets, vendors, contracts, and system performance improvements.
• Lead Fleet & Inventory's data governance and quality programs, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, reporting, and compliance with the Data Strategy.
• Provide strategic direction on data, analytics, and AI initiatives to support operational planning, asset management, inventory optimization, and business decision-making.
• Lead and support technology and data-related projects across Fleet & Inventory by serving as the business unit subject matter expert (SME).
• Manage system support, issue resolution, enhancement requests, and continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance management and inventory systems.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical professionals while overseeing recruitment, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
• Manage budget, resource planning, and departmental operations while fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences, Data Science, Systems Engineering or related and at least 8 years of experience overseeing complex technology, data, and information management related programs/teams.
• A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is considered an asset
• A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, business partnership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with operational delivery.

• Position Type: 1 Temporary (up to 24 months)
• Compensation: Level M2 $133,008 - 166,260 per annum
• Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week.
• Days of work: This position works a 5-day work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
