As the Systems Administrator, you will be a vital member within End User Computing in Information Technology (IT). You will provide direct technical support within the team and to clients across the corporation. Participation in 24x7 on-call support is required. Primary duties include:
- Oversee the team's support queue, providing assistance to the Enterprise Service Desk, team members, and other support teams.
- Maintain and support a Windows 11 managed endpoint environment, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Administer and monitor System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to support endpoint management and deployment activities.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Intune to ensure effective device configuration, compliance, and support.
Qualifications
- A completed 2 year diploma or degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supporting and managing Windows 11.
- Experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager, specifically in Operating System Deployments and Application Management for large organizations (10,000+ devices) is considered an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, specifically in Operating System Deployment and driver management for large organizations (10,000+ devices) is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, PowerShell, Power BI, and Microsoft Autopatch is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent technical, analytical, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Workstyle
- This position may be eligible to work from home for at least part of the time as one of several flexible work options available to City employees. - Days of work: This position works a 5-day work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
