Operations Supervisor - Production and Special Projects

The Operations Supervisor – Production & Special Projects works closely with the Director of Operations to support the overall effectiveness of The Lazy Gourmet’s Operations department. This role requires a strong knowledge of The Lazy Gourmet and Compass Group standards, procedures and operations, as well as a working knowledge of all areas of the Operations department.

The role acts as a flexible resource across Operations, taking charge of ongoing and temporary projects requiring attention to detail, planning, organization and follow-through. Projects may focus on operational improvements and efficiencies, special events, or other priorities that strengthen consistency and accountability. The role will also support offsite contracts as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Update and follow up with associate online training completion on 24/7 targeting 90%.
2. Monitors sign off sheets across the operations department to ensure accountability and accuracy.
3. Provides suggestions on how to bridge gaps between the Operations department and Sales and/or our clients.
4. Contributes ideas and strategies to the Director of Operations on ways to improve department procedures and processes.
5. Support contract locations via inputting menus, onsite support or similar.
6. Supports specialty large scale events in organizing and execution.
7. Adheres to all Compass health and safety procedures and guidelines and helps to enforce these throughout the department.
8. Build knowledge of The Lazy Gourmet’s systems, processes, clients and operational standards in order to become a knowledgeable resource for the broader Operations team.
9. Report to Operations Manager and the Director of Operations.
