Project Coordinator

The City of Edmonton’s Waste Services Branch is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our 25-year Waste Strategy. In this role, you will lead research initiatives and support the execution of the Communal Collection Program. You will collaborate across teams and engage directly with the public, property managers, and community partners to deliver evidence-based programs. By translating complex findings into practical implementation plans, you will play a key part in keeping Edmonton clean and sustainable. What will you do? - Manage project schedules, activities, and logistics, such as site assessments and vehicle routing - Design and execute research plans focused on key operational challenges, and summarize findings for leadership - Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis to inform strategy, program design, and standard operating procedures - Support the planning and execution of engagement activities with residents, property managers, and external organizations - Assist with internal and external change management, develop communication tactics, and draft status reports - Address inquiries and concerns from interested parties while managing project-related risks and contractor activities
