What will you do? - Engage visitors with Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) histories and cultures as it relates to Edmonton within the Indigenous Peoples Experience - Interpret a period of Edmonton's history to the visiting public using a variety of methods such as: storytelling, demonstrations of traditional skills, engaging visitors in one-on-one conversations, tours, and costumed role play - Participate in and lead large-scale interpretive programs such as historical talks, dramatic vignettes, and special event activities, as well as research and implement new programs - Facilitate private activations, tours, and Indigenous Perspective workshops within the Indigenous Peoples Experience - Assist with high-volume special events - Assist in the maintenance of artifacts and program supplies - Collect statistical information - Lead programs for pre-registered school groups and other groups as required - Participate in media engagements, public events, and other functions as required Wondering what it's like to be an Indigenous Peoples Interpreter?
