Labourer I, River Valley Parks & Facilities

The Attractions, Culture and Nature Branch is looking for motivated labourers to support the team with the day to day operations of our beautiful River Valley parks, facilities, and amenities. Your contribution will make a difference as you take on diverse responsibilities including maintaining park amenities, supporting winter events, and ensuring our parks remain clean and welcoming for all visitors. What will you do? - Complete daily janitorial duties throughout River Valley facilities - Clear walkways of snow and debris around facilities - Sand slippery walkways and facility access routes - Collect refuse in parks - Maintain ski trails, ice surfaces and toboggan hills - Complete minor maintenance activities on various park infrastructure and landscape elements - Operate equipment and complete minor equipment maintenance - Open and close facilities in alignment with security protocols - Provide excellent customer service to park visitors - Work independently as well as cohesively with team members - Other related duties as required
