If you are a strong organizer, problem-solver, and team leader who understands the importance of quality repairs, productivity, and customer satisfaction, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced collision centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily production meetings and monitor repair progress to identify delays, resolve bottlenecks, and keep work moving.
  • Coordinate and assign work based on technician skill levels, capacity, priorities, and production requirements.
  • Monitor cycle time, touch time, work-in-progress (WIP), and other performance indicators to support shop productivity and profitability.
  • Work closely with estimators, body technicians, refinish technicians, apprentices, parts personnel, and customer service representatives to coordinate repair activities.
  • Identify missed sales opportunities and collaborate with estimators to ensure repair requirements are properly identified and addressed.
  • Support quality control processes to ensure repairs meet established standards and manufacturer requirements.
  • Communicate repair priorities, production updates, and workflow challenges with the Assistant Manager and Collision Centre Manager.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and collaborative shop environment focused on accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Help deliver an exceptional customer experience by supporting timely, high-quality repairs and reliable delivery commitments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in collision repair production, shop operations, or a similar automotive environment.
  • Strong understanding of collision repair processes, including bodywork, refinishing, reassembly, and quality control.
  • Experience coordinating technicians, scheduling work, and managing repair workflows is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to identify production bottlenecks, prioritize repairs, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of cycle time, touch time, work-in-progress, productivity, and repair quality.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, estimators, parts personnel, management, and insurance partners.
  • A commitment to workplace safety, repair quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
