About the Opportunity
This role is ideal for a creative, collaborative digital storyteller who uses engaging content and insights to strengthen audience connections.
Working across brand, operations and subject matter teams, you'll uncover and share meaningful stories across digital platforms and publications.
You'll also steward Shannex's online communities, ensuring interactions reflect our Service Excellence commitment and Guiding Principles.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver a balanced content strategy that supports priorities, builds awareness, and engages key audiences.
- Use trends, SEO best practices and performance insights to improve visibility and engagement.
- Build relationships to uncover compelling stories and content opportunities.
- Manage the Master Content Calendar and coordinate planning, scheduling, monitoring, and publication.
- Create engaging blogs, articles, social posts, emails, videos and other digital content.
- Capture content at communities, events, and partner activities.
- Set targets, analyze engagement and use insights to improve performance.
What You'll Bring
You bring creativity, collaboration, attention to detail and:
- Relevant education, training or experience in communications, journalism, public relations, digital marketing or a related field.
- One to three years managing social media content or platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter and YouTube.
- Ability to write compelling content for varied digital audiences for different brands.
- Knowledge of content, engagement, automation and analytics tools such as Meltwater, SproutSocial, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
- Strong planning, presentation, and time management skills.
- Understanding of how analytics inform content performance and improvement.
- A collaborative approach and strong relationship building skills.
- A valid driver's license, vehicle access and flexibility to travel or occasionally work outside regular hours.
