Location: Boston Pizza – West Springs (Calgary, AB)
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $29.00 – $33.00 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role
Are you a hands-on restaurant leader who thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment? Boston Pizza West Springs is looking for an energetic and experienced General Manager to lead our front-of-house and heart-of-house teams.
As General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales growth, manage profitability, and ensure every guest experiences top-tier hospitality in our sports bar and family dining room.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule front-of-house and kitchen staff to create a positive, engaging workplace culture.
Operational Excellence: Maintain high standards of food safety, hospitality, speed of service, and brand execution.
Financial Performance: Manage labor costs, food waste, inventory, and operating expenses to hit target profit margins.
Guest Experience: Resolve customer feedback promptly and build strong relationships within the local West Springs community.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with provincial liquor laws, food safety regulations, and occupational health and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
1+ years of restaurant management experience (General Manager or Assistant GM experience in high-volume casual dining preferred)
Valid ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
Proven track record of managing labor and food costs effectively
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
