JOB SUMMARY:

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute the federal relationship and capture strategy for Government of Canada clients.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on performance, quality, and client outcomes for federal pursuits.
  • Provide clear, concise reporting and recommendations to executive leadership on federal market developments.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement in how we identify, shape, and win federal opportunities.
  • You will help position Securitas for sustainable growth and strong client and employee outcomes in the federal market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop strategic relationships across federal departments, agencies, Crown corporations, and related public sector organizations.
  • Define strategic and operational objectives for federal relationship management and capture, and ensure alignment with Securitas' growth priorities.
  • Build trusted senior-level relationships and stakeholder networks within large and complex federal organizations.
  • Create and maintain strategic account plans and stakeholder maps for priority federal accounts.
  • Oversee data, analytics, and reporting related to federal opportunity pipeline, capture plans, and market developments.
  • Identify emerging opportunities, renewal cycles, and procurement developments before formal activity begins.
  • Lead capture planning for priority federal opportunities, including positioning, strategy, and win themes.
  • Coordinate executive engagement and senior-level touchpoints across targeted federal accounts.
  • Collaborate with operational, legal, finance, and proposal teams to support opportunity pursuit and solution development.
  • Monitor competitive activity and provide market intelligence, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline of qualified future federal opportunities and track measures of success (pipeline growth, win rate, account penetration).
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness for federal pursuits.
  • Ensure compliance with Securitas policies, standards, and applicable federal regulatory requirements.
  • Champion Securitas' values and culture within the federal client environment and across internal teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8–10+ years in strategic account management, business development, public sector relationship management, or related fields
  • Proven ability to build senior-level relationships in large, complex organizations and influence strategic outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the Government of Canada environment and decision-making processes, or similar public sector / complex buying environments.
  • Experience engaging executive, operational, procurement, and broader stakeholder communities.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities early and lead or support capture strategies for major pursuits.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, decision-making, and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with executive audiences.
  • Proven ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities while driving long-term growth.
  • Experience developing long-term growth strategies and increasing account penetration and revenue.
  • Relevant backgrounds may include federal government leadership, public sector relationship management, strategic account management, business development and capture, management consulting, defense/public safety/security/critical infrastructure, facilities management/outsourcing, or professional/technology services to government.
  • Federal Government experience is an asset but not required; we welcome candidates who have built strategic relationships and influenced complex buying decisions in adjacent industries.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:
