SSM1050H S - Ecosystem Science Ecosystem science provides the concepts and mode of thinking to support the sustainable man agement of diverse systems at a range of scales. An understanding of the interactions within and between ecosystems is a critical component of the design and implementation of sustainable man agement practices. This course provides the foundational concepts of ecosystem science for the understanding, assessment, and design of sustainable management regimes. | 35 (est) | 1 | Jan 2027 - April 2027 Wednesday 1pm - 4pm | In the pursuit of teaching excellence, Sessional Lecturers are required to be superior classroom teachers and to maintain a mastery of the subject area (Sustainability and Science) Preferred qualifications are either PhD in relevant discipline completed or for non-University of Toronto graduate students, in progress, or relevant qualification or professional designation. We are seeking previous experience in teaching, teaching excellence, and mastery of subject area. Previous experience in teaching SSM1050 in the MScSM program course is highly desirable. | All normal duties related to the design, teaching and delivery of a university credit course including: Weekly lectures. Meeting with student teams to guide/advise them on their assignments. Holding weekly office hours. |
