about this team

The Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting team is significant to the Company by ensuring accurate accounting of leases and fixed assets from all lululemon stores and other locations globally. As an integral part of this team, you will work with multiple teams to ensure accuracy in these accounts and compliance with US GAAP. You have a desire for continuous improvement and contributing to the success of the company.

core responsibilities

• You will ensure accurate accounting treatment of all capital assets, including performing US GAAP analyses.

• You will perform and review various monthly reconciliations related to PPE and depreciation.

• You will play a key role in month-end and quarter end closes, including booking complex accruals and adjustments related to fixed assets and leasing.

• You will support the Business by managing the Projects and Fixed Assets modules.

• You will support ERP system configuration and enhancements, including testing, training, and rollout.

• You will be responsible for the completion of monthly SOX controls and maintenance of process narratives.

• You will work on ad hoc continuous improvement projects within the lease and fixed assets accounting scope.

• You will be part of a team committed to ensuring the accuracy of lease and fixed assets related accounts.

qualifications

• You are a person with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience and a professional accounting designation (CPA) or close to completion.

• Retail industry experience is an asset.

• Experience with Oracle EBS is a plus.

• Extremely organized, detail oriented and takes pride in quality and loves taking initiative.

• Strong financial background and knowledge of Excel is required.

• You love dreaming up and creating new or improving current systems, templates, and reports.

• Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiples task in a time sensitive manner.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $71,400 - $93,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program subject to program eligibility requirements.
